Terms and Conditions
General
Welcome to Manchester Stonemasonry. By placing an order with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review these terms carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you should contact us before placing an order.
Orders and Payment
2.1 All orders must be paid in full before any dispatch of our work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2 Depending on the project, orders can be collected directly from our workshop or delivered to the customer's specified address through a third-party courier service arranged by us or by Manchester Stonemasonry directly.
Collection of Orders
3.1 If collection is available, customers are encouraged to collect their orders directly from our workshop using suitable transport.
3.2 When collecting, customers should inspect the product to ensure it meets their satisfaction before leaving the premises.
3.3 Upon collection, the customer accepts responsibility for the product and confirms that the quantity, specification and condition of the goods are satisfactory.
Delivery of Orders
4.1 If delivery is requested, we will organise this service on behalf of the customer through a third-party courier company or deliver the goods directly.
4.2 Delivery will be made to solid, flat ground only. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery location meets this requirement.
4.3 Delivery dates and times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
Inspection Upon Delivery
5.1 The customer must be present at the delivery location to inspect the product upon arrival where reasonably possible.
5.2 Customers must inspect the product thoroughly upon delivery, including checking quantities, dimensions, specifications, damage, and completeness of the order.
5.3 If any damage, shortage, missing item, incorrect quantity, incorrect specification or other issue is found, the customer must notify Manchester Stonemasonry as soon as possible and in any event within 48 hours of delivery.
5.4 Any claim relating to damage, shortages, missing items, incorrect quantities or incorrect products reported after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
5.5 No claims for shortages, missing items, incorrect quantities, damage or visible defects will be accepted once the goods have been cut, altered, installed, incorporated into works, or otherwise used.
5.6 By accepting delivery and failing to notify Manchester Stonemasonry of any issue within 48 hours, the customer acknowledges that the product has been received in satisfactory condition, in the correct quantity, and in accordance with the order.
Responsibility and Liability
6.1 Failure to inspect the product within the time stated above leaves the customer solely responsible for any alleged shortages, quantity discrepancies, visible damage or issues that should reasonably have been identified upon delivery.
6.2 Manchester Stonemasonry will not be held liable for any damage, shortage, missing items, quantity discrepancies or issues reported after the inspection period specified in Clause 5.
6.3 Manchester Stonemasonry will not be held liable for any claim relating to goods that have been cut, altered, installed, incorporated into works, or otherwise used before the claim is reported.
6.4 Natural stone is a natural product and variations in colour, texture, veining, markings and appearance are normal characteristics and shall not be considered defects.
Availability for Delivery
7.1 It is the customer's responsibility to be available at the delivery location during the agreed delivery window.
7.2 The customer must allocate sufficient time for inspection of the product upon delivery.
Amendments
8.1 Manchester Stonemasonry reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all orders placed after the posting date.

9.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Manchester Stonemasonry, including collection and delivery arrangements.
